How WIll Congress Perform If Polls Are Held Today?
After its thumping victory in the Karnataka Assembly polls, the Congress has been hoping to bounce back in the Lok Sabha polls. However, the survey report is not encouraging as it predicted the grand old party of taking its tally to 66, an increase of 14 seats from the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Mamata Banerjee's All India Trinamool Congress is poised to become the third-largest party in the Lok Sabha this time, securing 29 seats, an increase of seven seats from their previous tally of 22. On the other hand, the ruling YSR Congress party from Andhra Pradesh is projected to emerge as the fourth-largest party with 18 seats, a decrease of four seats compared to the 22 seats it won in the previous elections.

According to projections, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena (UBT) is expected to enhance its current seat count of six to eleven, while Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party may significantly increase its present one LS seat to ten seats if elections were held now. Naveen Patnaik's Biju Janata Dal in Odisha may witness a slight increase in its tally, going from 12 to 13 seats as per the projections. However, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena (Shinde) may experience a considerable decline in strength, dropping from twelve seats to two.
