Will PM Modi Address The Nation From Red Fort Next Year? Heres What Times Now ETG Survey Says

What Opinion Poll?
Going to the survey, the BJP will bag over 300 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha election while the Opposition bloc INDIA will end up winning seats around 160-190 seats.

The opinion poll claims that the NDA may win seats around 296 and 326 seats. The BJP-led alliance had won 353 seats in 2019. The NDA is poised to come back to power despite 26 Opposition parties joining hands to take on the saffron party.

The survey foresees the NDA maintaining its strong presence in the Hindi belt, with an impressive success rate of 80 per cent. This highlights the enduring impact of the Modi wave across northern India. It is noteworthy that the BJP is expected to achieve significant triumphs in key states like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. According to the ETG survey, the NDA is projected to secure around 70 out of the 80 seats available in these states.

The NDA is poised to win 22-24 seats in Bihar while INDIA is predicted to emerge victorious in 16-18 seats.

However, the Opposition parties are predicted to do well in South India like in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. However, internal rifts in states like Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are expected to have a negative impact.

In Tamil Nadu, the DMK-Congress alliance is expected to win 30-34 (57.2 per cent) while the AIADMK-NDA alliance will bag 4-8 seats with a vote share of 27.8 per cent. However, Congress is predicted to bag around 8-10 seats despite winning the recent state elections. The BJP is expected to win 18-20 seats.

Overall, the Congress is expected to win 62-80 seats in the next Lok Sabha polls. The survey also claims Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra of having a limited impact.
