Telangana to Get Two New Vande Bharat Trains Hyderabad Pune and Secunderabad Nanded Routes Announced

Currently, Hyderabad is linked by four Vande Bharat trains, and with the addition of these two new services, connectivity with Maharashtra will be further strengthened, making travel more convenient for passengers.

Popularity Driving Expansion

The decision comes in the wake of strong passenger demand and the overwhelming success of existing Vande Bharat trains running on routes such as Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam, Secunderabad-Tirupati, and Kacheguda-Yeshvantpur. Encouraged by this response, the Railways has drawn up proposals for additional Vande Bharat services from Secunderabad.

Total Services Rise to Seven

With the addition of these two trains, the South Central Railway (SCR) will operate a total of seven Vande Bharat Express services, placing it among the zones with the highest number of these semi-high-speed trains.

Other Upcoming Launches

Alongside these developments, the Secunderabad-Muzaffarpur Amrit Bharat Express is expected to launch within a month, offering another long-distance travel option for passengers.

In addition, the Railways is also planning to replace the Secunderabad-Pune Shatabdi Express with a Vande Bharat Express. Currently, the Shatabdi takes about eight and a half hours to complete the journey, operating six days a week (except Tuesdays) with a composition of two AC executive class coaches, nine AC chair cars, and two EOG cars.
