KCR Faces Crucial Decision On Medak Candidate For Telangana Lok Sabha Elections
The upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana are shaping up to be quite interesting. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is taking the elections very seriously, and the BJP is keen to show their strength.
The elections pose a challenge for former Chief Minister KCR, who appears to be on the verge of making a significant decision. The battle involves three major parties, all of which have already chosen their candidates for Parliament. Both the BJP and Congress have announced their candidate lists, while KCR is proceeding with caution in selecting his.
KCR has confirmed a candidate for the Zaheerabad area in the former Medak district but remains undecided about Medak. Initially, there was talk of nominating Pratap Reddy from Medak, but KCR seems to be waiting to see who the Congress nominates before making his announcement. This delay has led several hopefuls to vie for a nomination from KCR's party. In Medak, when Sunitha Reddy received the Narsapur assembly ticket, it was promised that former MLA Madan Reddy would get the Medak MP seat. A similar promise was made to Gali Anil Kumar when he switched from Congress to TRS during the assembly elections.

Additionally, Beeerayya Yadav and Sashidhar Reddy are also seeking KCR's endorsement for their candidacies. The BJP has already named former MLA Raghunandan Rao as their candidate for Medak, who has begun his campaign.
Amidst this, there's speculation that KCR himself might run for the Medak parliamentary seat. It's believed that KCR's participation could boost party morale during the elections. The final decision on whether KCR will enter the race or nominate someone else for Medak is expected to be clear within a day or two.
