Telangana Economic Vision 2047: From $1 Trillion To $3 Trillion Growth Plan

On Telangana Formation Day, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced a sweeping vision to transform the state into a $3 trillion economy by 2047. Outlining the "Telangana Rising - 2047" plan, he said the state aims to hit the $1 trillion mark within the next 10 years and double its share in India's GDP from 5% to 10% by 2047.

To achieve this, the government is rolling out new industrial, infrastructure, and investment policies. So far, Telangana has attracted investment pledges worth over ₹3 lakh crore from tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Cognizant, and HCL. Upcoming projects like AI City, Pharma City, and Life Sciences & Health City will further drive Hyderabad's global competitiveness.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the government's focus on welfare, education, and women's empowerment to ensure inclusive growth.

Honouring Statehood Heroes

As part of the celebrations, nine contributors to the Telangana movement-including writers, singers, and artists-were awarded ₹1 crore each. Families of late icons like Gaddar and Gude Anjaiah were also honoured. The Kaloji Award was presented to literary figure Nelimela Bhaskar, while poet Goreti Venkanna's award was received by his daughter in his absence.

Telangana's message was clear: bold growth plans for the future, while remembering those who fought for its past.
