Telangana CM Revanth Reddy To Launch Bhu Bharati Portal And Indiramma Housing Scheme
On April 14, 2025, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to replace the current Dharani portal with the Bhu Bharati portal. The goal of this new platform is to improve transparency in land transactions and expedite land-related services.
Public Involvement and Pilot Implementation
In three chosen mandals, the Bhu Bharati portal will be launched as a pilot project at first. CM Revanth Reddy stressed the significance of launching awareness campaigns in these mandals to inform farmers and locals about the features and advantages of the portal during a review meeting on Saturday. He gave officials instructions to respond to questions from the public and take suggestions into account in order to keep the portal getting better. Similar awareness campaigns will be extended to all mandals in the state after the pilot phase.

Easy-to-use Interface and Effective Administration
In order to guarantee accessibility for all citizens, the Chief Minister has instructed that the Bhu Bharati portal be created with an easy-to-use interface and straightforward language. Additionally, he emphasized how important it is to manage the website and its companion mobile application strictly and effectively. It is anticipated that the portal will offer thorough information on land transactions and expedite the resolution of land-related issues.
Indiramma Housing Scheme: Ensuring Aid for the Deserving
In a separate meeting with Housing Department officials, CM Revanth Reddy reaffirmed that the Indiramma housing scheme is intended solely for the most deserving beneficiaries. He emphasized that Indiramma Committees must meticulously select eligible families at the village level. To ensure transparency, a team comprising the tahsildar, Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO), and an engineer will conduct field visits to verify the lists prepared by these committees.
The Chief Minister threatened legal action, including the recovery of funds, against any ineligible people who were discovered to have received housing benefits. Additionally, he directed officials to act right away against anyone abusing the plan for their own benefit. Measures will be taken to guarantee the availability of cement and steel at discounted prices in order to lessen the financial burden on beneficiaries.
The meetings were attended by CCLA Secretary M. Makarand, Revenue Secretary Jyothi Buddaprakash, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister V. Seshadri, and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, among others.
