Telangana: Class X Exam Officials Dismissed Over WhatsApp Question Paper Leak
In a major breach of exam security, the Class X question paper was photographed and circulated on WhatsApp from an examination center in Nalgonda district during the final stage of the exam on Friday, the first day of the SSC Public Exams. As a result, authorities have taken strict action against those responsible.
An examination center's chief superintendent and a department officer were suspended, while an invigilator was relieved of their duties following the incident. A senior official confirmed that the leak was quickly traced back to its source using newly implemented security measures, including QR codes and security numbers on the question papers.

"With these enhanced security features, we were able to identify the examination center from where the paper was circulated on WhatsApp. The student and officials involved have been identified, and a malpractice case has been registered. Criminal action will also be taken against those responsible," the official stated.
Director of School Education, EV Narasimha Reddy, condemned the act, stating that the circulation of question paper images on WhatsApp was a deliberate attempt to disrupt the examination process and create confusion among students and parents.
He further warned that spreading rumors or misinformation regarding examinations would be taken seriously, and strict action would be initiated against those involved.
Authorities are now investigating the extent of the leak and ensuring that strict measures are enforced to prevent such incidents in the future.
