Sonia Gandhi snubs Jagan, Congress adds 2 more districts to Telangana

Anantapur and Kurnool will be added to proposed new entity called ''Rayala-Telangana'. The two states carved out of Andhra Pradesh will then each have 21 Lok Sabha and 147 assembly constituencies.
After getting the nod of village councils and elected representatives of both districts, a Group of Ministers had begun working on the map of India's 29th state.

Other ten districts, which come under Telangana, are -- Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar, Rangareddy, Medak, Nizamabad.
YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy have been protesting against Andhra bifurcation and asked Congress to keep the state united. However, Congress already had declared its decision of forming a separate state out of Andhra Pradesh.
