Scorching Heatwave Sweeps Telangana as IMD Issues Yellow Alert for Hyderabad
The heatwave in Telangana has intensified, prompting the India Meteorological Department Hyderabad to issue a yellow alert for the city and several other districts. Rising temperatures are expected to remain between 36-40 degrees Celsius, affecting multiple regions across the state.
According to the IMD forecast, districts including Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Nirmal, and Mancherial will experience extreme heat, with Mancherial recording the highest temperature of 38.3 degrees Celsius, followed closely by Nirmal at 38.2 degrees Celsius.

The city of Hyderabad is also feeling the heat, with Musheerabad recording the highest temperature of 36.3 degrees Celsius. The IMD has predicted partly cloudy skies until February 27, with misty or hazy conditions in the mornings.
On Monday, Hyderabad recorded a daytime temperature of 28.65 degrees Celsius, with forecasts indicating a minimum of 20.53 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 32.24 degrees Celsius. The humidity levels stood at 26 percent, and winds blew at 26 km/h. The sun rose at 6:37 AM and is expected to set at 6:21 PM.
For Tuesday, Hyderabad's temperature is expected to range between 18.93 degrees Celsius as the minimum and 32.2 degrees Celsius as the maximum, with humidity levels at 27 percent.
As temperatures continue to soar, residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct exposure to the sun during peak hours, and take necessary precautions to combat the rising heat.
