Police also stated that heavy vehicles, RTC buses and private travel buses should avoid roads leading to the Parade Grounds area during the event hours.
Over 2,000 Police Personnel Deployed For Security
Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police B Sumathi said that over 2,000 police personnel along with specialised security forces have been deployed for the Prime Minister's visit.
"She said that unauthorised access to restricted areas will not be permitted."
The commissioner added that elaborate arrangements have been made for crowd management, emergency response, medical aid and fire safety during the public meeting.
According to the police, the entire Parade Grounds venue, surrounding roads, checkpoints and parking locations are under CCTV surveillance for continuous monitoring.
"She said that a joint command and control room has been established to monitor all CCTV feeds in real-time for immediate response by IT and field teams."
Bomb Disposal Teams, Sniffer Dogs Deployed
The police also confirmed that anti-sabotage checks are being carried out round the clock until the completion of the event.
"Anti-sabotage checks with Bomb Disposal (BD) teams are being conducted round the clock until completion of the event. A robust communication system with VHF sets has been provided to all officers of SI rank and above for quick and coordinated response," said the commissioner.
Advanced security scanners have been installed at all entry points to detect explosives and prohibited materials. Bomb Disposal Squads and sniffer dog teams have also been stationed at the venue and parking areas.
In addition, special teams have been deployed to monitor anti-social elements, while mobile technical units are verifying electronic devices at entry gates.
Police Advise Public To Use Metro Services
With heavy footfall expected for the Prime Minister's programme, Hyderabad police urged residents to utilise Metro Rail services and public transport wherever possible to reduce traffic congestion around Secunderabad and Parade Grounds.
The Malkajgiri Police also shared details of the security and traffic arrangements on social media ahead of the event, stating that extensive preparations had been made under the supervision of Commissioner B Sumathi.
