Massive Fire At KSR Fashions Near Maitrivanam Triggers Traffic Chaos In Hyderabad

A major fire broke out at KSR Fashions in Hyderabad's bustling Ameerpet locality on Thursday afternoon, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky and causing widespread panic among traders, residents and commuters. The blaze erupted around 12:30 pm at the commercial complex near Maitrivanam Junction, close to Metro Pillar No. A1043, and quickly spread across the building.

Videos circulating on social media showed the entire three-storey structure engulfed in flames, with the fire visible from a considerable distance. The intensity of the blaze made it difficult for bystanders to move close to the building as emergency teams rushed to the scene.

Located on Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar Road, KSR Fashions sits in one of Hyderabad's busiest commercial stretches, surrounded by hotels, restaurants, electronic stores and several retail establishments. Witnesses said the flames spread rapidly through the building, fuelled by the large stock of garments and other highly combustible materials stored inside the premises.

Shopkeepers in nearby establishments hurriedly evacuated customers and attempted to move valuable merchandise to safety as fears grew that the fire could spread to adjoining buildings.

Following alerts from local residents, fire department personnel arrived at the location and immediately began firefighting operations. According to Hyderabad Traffic Police, four fire tenders were deployed to contain the blaze, while police teams assisted in securing the area and preventing the flames from reaching neighbouring commercial complexes.
