Hyderabad Traffic To Be Hit by PM Modi's Rally, CM Reddy's 'Iftar' Dinner: Avoid These Routes Today

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's roadshow in Hyderabad on Friday, the Hyderabad City Police has issued a traffic advisory.

The Prime Minister will hold a roadshow in Hyderabad on Friday and address BJP rallies in Telangana on March 16 and March 18 ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

Modi's roadshow would be held for an hour from Mirjaguda to Malkajgiri Friday evening, Telangana BJP sources told the PTI.

In view of the Friday event, the Hyderabad Police have issued a traffic advisory, indicating that vehicular movement will be restricted or diverted at various locations throughout the city for security reasons.

Vehicular movement will be temporarily restricted and diverted at several key points, including Begumpet, PNT Junction, Rasoolpura, CTO, Plaza, St. Johns Rotary, Sangeeth X Roads, Alugadda Bavi, Mettuguda, Railway Hospital, Mettuguda Rotary, Mirjalguda T Junction, Malkajgiri Arch, Lalapet, Tarnaka, Green Lands, Monappa Junction, Rajbhavan MMTS Junction, and VV Statue.

Routes To Avoid

Apart from the PM's visit, a traffic advisory has been issued for the 'Dawaat-e-Iftar' hosted by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at LB Stadium on Friday.

The traffic restrictions will be enforced from 5 PM to 9 PM in the city. The vehicular movement will be prohibited on the AR Petrol Pump - BJR Statue road, with diversions directed towards Nampally.

Additionally, the advisory states that traffic on the Basheerbagh flyover will be restricted from taking a right turn at BJR Statue. Instead, vehicles will proceed up to SBI Gunfoundry and then turn right toward Chapel Road.
