Hyderabad Shocker: Man Strips Woman In Front Of His Mother

In a shocking incident, a Hyderabad man stripped a young woman in Jawahar Nagar on Sunday evening. The worst part of the story is that he did this in front of his mother.

The accused is identified as Peddamariah. Around 8 pm on Sunday, the victim was coming out of a clothes store when the man touched her inappropriately. As she confronted him, he got furious and stripped her on the road.

If it was not enough, the man beat up another woman who came to her rescue. However, the cops arrived at the spot and took him into custody.

According to reports, the woman remained unclothed on the road for a period of time until a group of women intervened. They used a blue plastic sheet to shield her and sought assistance.

Unfortunately, his mother too did not try to stop him. A case has been registered under sections 354 (b), 323, 506 read with 34 of the law, encompassing charges related to violating modesty, committing criminal assault, intimidation, and displaying criminal intent towards a shared objective. The case also holds the mother accountable for her failure to prevent her son's actions.

"This kind of an incident happening just two months after what happened in Manipur, shakes the confidence of the people," a woman told NDTV.

However, the cops arrested the man and sent him to jail.
