Hyderabad Police Arrests A Nepali Man For Killing Lover, He Stuffed Chopped Body In A Travel Bag
A Nepali man, aged 30, has been apprehended in Hyderabad on charges of murdering his live-in partner. The victim, also from Nepal, was found stuffed in a travel bag and abandoned in a deserted area. The grim discovery occurred on June 4 when the body of 33-year-old Tara Bohra was located near a residential zone in Bachupally, Hyderabad.
Police quickly detained the suspect, Vijay Toppa, also known as Wilson. He worked as a chef at a local eatery and had been living with Tara. Their relationship began on Facebook. Despite being married with two children, Tara relocated to Hyderabad on April 15 to live with Vijay in Bowrampet.

Investigation and Arrest
The police investigation revealed that an argument between the couple escalated on May 23. The dispute reportedly involved Tara's pregnancy. In a fit of anger, Vijay allegedly strangled her using a nylon bag thread. He then placed her body in a large travel bag and left it in an isolated colony.
A local watchman discovered the body and informed the authorities. Senior officers from Cyberabad Police, including K Suresh Kumar, Satyanarayana, and Ravi Kiran Reddy, along with forensic teams, visited the scene to initiate an intensive investigation.
Tracking Down the Suspect
To locate Vijay, five special teams were formed by the police. They used CCTV footage and technical evidence to trace him to Medchal district. Upon arresting him there, he confessed to committing the crime during interrogation.
