Hyderabad Crime: Man Kills Wife, Chops Her Body, Boils Parts In Pressure Cooker

In a horrifying incident emerging from Hyderabad, a man, formerly serving in the Army, is accused of murdering his wife in an atrociously calculated manner. Allegations suggest that he not only killed her but went to the lengths of dismembering and boiling her remains, purportedly in an effort to obliterate any evidence of the crime. This atrocious act unfolded in the locality of Jillelaguda, where the couple resided with their two children.

The perpetrator, identified as Gurumurthy, hailing from Prakasam district, was apprehended following a missing person report filed by the victim's parents on January 18, at Meerpet Police Station. The report was lodged after the victim, 35-year-old Venkat Madhavi, inexplicably vanished, leading her family to suspect foul play. Initially, Gurumurthy feigned ignorance about his wife's whereabouts, even accompanying his in-laws to file the report.

Subsequent investigations into Madhavi's disappearance unraveled the grim details of the case. Gurumurthy, who worked as a security guard in Kanchanbagh, allegedly confessed to the police that he killed Madhavi in a fit of sudden provocation. This was supposedly triggered by her request to visit her native place in Nandyal. Following the murder, he is said to have dismembered her body, placed the parts in a gunny bag, and disposed of it in the Chandan Lake area near their home.

The investigation into this gruesome murder continues, with efforts to locate Madhavi's remains still underway. The police's discovery of the crime was significantly aided by the missing person complaint filed by the distraught parents, shining a light on the dark deeds that transpired in the quiet of their home in Jillelaguda. The motives behind the murder, cited to be rooted in suspicion by the authorities, paint a chilling portrait of betrayal and violence, leaving the community in shock and mourning the loss of Madhavi.
