Diljit Dosanjh's Hyderabad Concert News: 4 Things He Should Not Be Doing At 'Dil-Luminati' Stage

The Telangana government has issued a notice to actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh and the organisers of his 'Dil-Luminati' concert scheduled to be held on Friday.

The notice states that he should refrain from singing any songs that promote alcohol, drugs or violence and ordered the organisers and the singer should not use children on stage during the live show.

"This is with reference to representation made by Panditrao Dharenavar S/o Chandrashekar R/o 1006B, sector-41 B, Chandigarh, we hereby in advance issue notice to you for not using children on stage during live show in Cyberabad, or Rachakonda Commissionerate area on 15.11.2024 and not to allow singer Daljit Dosanjh to sing Alcohol/ Drugs/Violence promotingsongs during LIVE show on stage because, According to World Health organization adults should not be exposed to sounds with a peak sound pressure level above 140 db. For children, the level is reduced to 120 db. Therefore, children should not be used on stage during your live show where peak sound pressure level is above 120db," the notice from the government to the organisers and the singer read.

The statement says that the representer has submitted the video evidence showcasing that the Dosanjh songs had promoted alcohol, drugs and violence promoting songs (CASE, Panchatara, Patiala Pegg, ) during live show in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, last month. Hence, the authorities have issued the notice in advance to deter promoting alcohol, drugs and violence through songs in his live show.

"Your concert guidelines say that children are allowed below 13 years of age. Concert guidelines also say that concert may include loud sounds and flashing lights. Both loud music and flashing lights are harmful for children. In view of the above Organizers and singer of DIL-LUMNATI, Daljit Dosanjh here by informed, Not, to use children on stage during live show in Cyberabad on 15.11.2024 and not to sing Alcohol/Drugs/Violence promoting songs during LIVE show on stage," the statement added.

On the other hand, Diljit Dosanjh has visited historic Charminar and a temple and Gurudwara in Hyderabad.
