The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is intensifying its nationwide campaign against examination irregularities, holding protests in cities like Hyderabad on June 13 and demanding Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over alleged NEET UG paper leaks, while also releasing an education manifesto for reforms.

The protest forms part of a larger agitation being organised across several cities in India, where party members and supporters are raising concerns over examination management and demanding accountability from authorities.

Hyderabad Joins Multi-City Protest Campaign

According to the programme announced by the organisation, Hyderabad is among a list of major cities hosting demonstrations between June 11 and June 20. The campaign is also expected to cover Pune, Lucknow, Amritsar, Bangalore, Jaipur and Delhi.

Ahead of the Hyderabad event, citizen activists Vijay Mallangi, Ruchith Asha Kamal and Sonde Ansar addressed a press conference at Gun Park on Friday, June 12, outlining the objectives of the protest and calling for public participation.

Demand for Dharmendra Pradhan's Resignation

The protests are centred around the alleged NEET (UG) question paper leak and other examination-related concerns. Participants are seeking the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding the Ministry of Education responsible for what they describe as serious lapses in the conduct of examinations.

The campaign aims to highlight issues faced by students due to irregularities in examination processes and recruitment procedures.

Protest Campaign Begins in Pune

Speaking at the launch of the movement in Pune, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said, "We are starting our nationwide protest from today at SPPU. The protest will be peaceful and within the framework of the Constitution. Today, we will be releasing our education manifesto."

He stressed that the demonstrations would remain peaceful while focusing on reforms in the education and examination system.

Education Manifesto Focuses on Reforms

Dipke also elaborated on the party's proposed education agenda, saying, "The manifesto focuses on preventing question paper leaks, ensuring timely declaration of examination results, improving transparency in recruitment and entrance examinations, strengthening accountability of examination authorities, and addressing issues faced by students due to delays and irregularities in the conduct of examinations."

The party says its campaign seeks to bring attention to long-standing concerns regarding examination security, recruitment transparency and administrative accountability.
