BRS Chief KCR Discharged From Hospital After Health Scare; Recovering Well
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was discharged from Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad on Saturday, July 5, after a three-day stay for medical treatment. The 71-year-old leader, popularly known as KCR, was admitted on July 3 following complaints of general weakness. Medical tests later revealed elevated blood sugar levels and hyponatremia (low sodium levels), prompting doctors to recommend hospitalisation.
In an official statement released on Thursday, Yashoda Hospitals said KCR had been kept under close observation and provided necessary medication to stabilise his condition. The hospital assured that his vitals had returned to normal and that he was responding well to treatment. Sources close to the BRS chief said he has been advised rest and will continue to be monitored at home over the next few days.

KCR, a dominant political figure in Telangana and a two-time Chief Minister, has maintained a demanding schedule even after his party's loss in the recent Assembly elections. His health scare raised concern among his supporters and party members alike.
