BRS And BJP To Join Hands In Telangana?

Amidst the rumors of Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) joining hands in Telangana, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Saturday cleared the air. Talking to the media, Bandi Sanjay Kumar rubbished all speculation of any talks between KCR's BRS and BJP for friendship.

Calling BRS an "outdated party", senior BJP leader said there's no chance of BRS and BJP coming together.

BRS And BJP

Reports doing round the internet claimed that BRS leaders were trying to engage in talks with BJP top leadership following the arrest of BRS MLC K Kavitha in a money laundering case related to the now-scrapped Delhi Liquor Policy case.

Telangana ruling KCR's BRS lost power in Telangana Assembly elections held last year.

Badi Sanjay Kumar said that the contest in the local body polls in Telangana would be a direct contest between the ruling Congress and the BJP.

On the other side, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao has also warned people spreading false information about the "merger" of BRS and BJP in the state. KTR said his party will take strong legal action against people who will spread falls information against his party.

K Kavitha's Bail Hearing:

BRS leader K Kavitha's bail hearing in Delhi excise policy case will be heard on August 12 in a Delhi case and BRS is expecting that BRS MLC will get some relief as Manish Sisodia got relief in a similar matter.
