Allu Arjun Appears Before Cops In Sandhya Theatre Stampede Case, Cancels Hospital Visit To Meet Victim
'Pushpa 2' Actor Allu Arjun appeared before the police in Hyderabad on Sunday as part of his bail conditions in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
According to news agency PTI, the actor also cancelled a planned hospital visit to see an injured boy who is receiving treatment.

Arjun is among the accused in the case related to the tragic death of a woman during a stampede at the premiere of his latest film, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'.
Police stated that Arjun visited the Station House Officer (SHO) at Chikkadapally police station on Sunday, fulfilled the court-mandated formalities, and subsequently departed.
Listed as Accused No. 11 in the case, Arjun was granted regular bail by a court on 3 January. Under the court's directives, the actor must report to the SHO of Chikkadapally police station every Sunday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for two months or until the chargesheet is filed, whichever comes first.
Allu Arjun Cancels Hospital Visit
The court also instructed the actor not to change his residential address without prior notification to the court until the case concludes. Additionally, he must not leave the country without the court's prior approval.
The SHO of Ramgopalpet Police Station issued a notice to Arjun regarding his planned hospital visit to see the injured boy, urging him to "reconsider" his decision due to heightened public interest and to avoid disruption at the hospital.
The notice advised Arjun's management to coordinate with hospital authorities and police to plan the visit in a way that minimised inconvenience to other patients and staff.
It also recommended maintaining confidentiality to prevent public or media gatherings. However, Arjun cancelled the visit following "advice" from his legal team, official sources told PTI.
Sandhya Theatre Incident
The tragic incident occurred on 4 December, when a stampede-like situation broke out at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad as fans gathered to see the actor during the premiere of 'Pushpa 2'. A 35-year-old woman lost her life, and her eight-year-old son sustained injuries in the chaos. The boy is currently undergoing treatment in a city hospital.
In the aftermath, a case was registered against Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management at Chikkadapally police station. The charges, filed under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), stemmed from a complaint lodged by the deceased woman's family. Arjun was arrested on 13 December in connection with the case but was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court on 14 December. This bail is set to expire on 10 January.
