AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi Shares Relationship Advice, Says Domestic Violence Is No Manhood
AIMIM chief and Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday slammed people who do domestic violence. Asaduddin Owaisi said men must be nice to their wives and should not haul as there is no manhood in it.
"I have said this several times. That upset many people. The Quran does not say that your wife must wash your clothes or cook for you or give you a head massage. In fact, it says the husband has no right to his wife's earnings. But, the wife has the right to the husband's earnings because she has to run the household," the AIMIM chief said during a party meet.

Owaisi shared a video on the micro-blogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, which had a thumbnail saying "Islam Mai Khawahteen Ka Makaam" (Position for women in Islam).
In the video, Owaisi said many people criticise their wives for not cooking good food or find faults and ignore their day-long efforts and hard work.
"My brothers, this is Islam. It is not (written anywhere). And then there are those who are cruel to their wives, who hit them. If you are true followers of the Prophet, tell me where he has laid his hands on a woman," Owaisi added.
"There is no manhood in unnecessarily venting your anger on your wife or taking swipes at her. Manhood is tolerating her anger," the AIMIM leader further added.
While addressing people present at the gathering, the AIMIM leader narrated a story of Rasul and Farooq e Azam. He said when Rasul reached Farooq e Azam, a powerful caliph, expressing concern about his wife's anger. Upon reaching Farooq-e-Azam's residence, Rasul discovered that even the caliph's wife was reprimanding him.
Later, Rasul informed Farooq-e-Azam about his similar predicament. In response, Farooq-e-Azam conveyed, "She is my wife; she safeguards the honor of my home, bears my children, and cares for them. She is human, and when she speaks in anger, I listen. Brothers, adopt this perspective."
