Kejriwal's One Year Report Card gets mixed response in Delhi

New Delhi: Combining activism and politics, Arvind Kejriwal has surely won the accolade of being the latest disruptor in Indian politics.

Kejriwal made his foray into the politics on the back of the biggest people's movement India has witnessed in the recent past. Hence, he doesn't shy away from going to public for anything and everything even after getting the mandate twice in a year.

Even amid the tussle with the Centre, LG, Bureaucrats, Delhi police, continued infighting within the party, Kejriwal yesterday presented his report card to the public asserting that he has delivered upon all his promises. Although the political pundits argue that amid the political mess in Delhi, the governance took a back seat, only the aam aadmi of Delhi can give the real picture.

There was a mixed response to Kejriwal's governance in New Delhi Municipal Corporation area - the constituency of Kejriwal, its neighborhood Paharganj and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's constituency Patparganj.

It may be too early to pass a judgment on Kejriwal government's performance but regarding his claims that he has delivered on all his promises, his to do list is way longer than that of his achievements. While he may be on the right track but still has a long way to go, say the aam aadmi of Delhi.
