Bangalore, June 21: Afghanistan witnessed a suicide bomb attack in Kabul on Saturday. The bombing, aimed at a senior government official killed one civilian and wounded three others but did not harm its apparent target, Afghan security officials said.
Meanwhile, Sunni militants seized an Iraqi crossing on the border with Syria after a daylong battle in which they killed some 30 Iraqi troops, security officials said on Saturday.
