Gujarat elections: Bhikhusinh Chatursinh Parmar - BJP candidate from Modasa constituency
Bhikhusinh Chatursinh Parmar is the BJP candidate for the Modasa assembly seat. Bhikhusinh has been given the ticket for the first time for this seat. In the 2012 elections, Congress's Rajendra Singh Shivsinh Thakore defeated BJP's Dilip Singh Parmar. This time, BJP will try to capture the seat by giving a ticket to Bhikhu Sinh. Bhikhushinh was an independent candidate in the 2002 elections too.

In the 2007 elections, he got into the electoral fray on a BSP ticket and had secured only 17596 votes. After a political struggle, he joined the BJP. Modasa is an industrial area. Small businesses had suffered more damage following the demonetisation.
