Congress candidate from Shimla Assembly seat in Himachal: Harbhajan Singh Bhajji
Congress party's candidate from Shimla (Urban) Assembly constituency for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is Harbhajan Singh Bhajji. Harbhajan Singh Bhajji is the Congress' state general secretary and was an MLA from the Shimla (Urban) seat between 2003-07.

After having denied a ticket, rebel Congress leader Harish Janartha has also filed his nomination from the seat which will make the fight for Shimla (Urban) seat a three cornered contest. BJP candidate from this seat is Suresh Bharadwaj, who is a three time legislator.
Harbhajan Singh Bhajji is 68-years-old and a resident of Shimla.
According to myneta.info, Bhajji is a graduate and holds a BA degree from SDB college. He has stated his profession as a social worker.
Harbhajan Singh Bhajji's assets are worth over Rs three crores and he has no criminal cases against him.
