Congress candidate from Shillai Assembly seat in Himachal: Harshwardhan Chauhan
The Congress party's candidate from Shillai Assembly Constituency for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is Harshwardhan Chauhan. In 2012 Himachal Pradesh polls, Chauhan had lost to BJP's Baldev Singh Tomar by 1918 votes. Before losing in 2012 polls, Chauhan had won from this seat in 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2007.

Shillai Assembly Constituency is located in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
Harshwardhan Chauhan is 53-years-old and a resident of Kamroo Tehsil in Sirmour district.
According to myneta.info, he is a graduate and hold BA and LLB degrees from HP university in Shimla.
His assets are worth Rs 11 crore and he has no criminal cases against him.
