Congress candidate from Paonta Sahib Assembly seat in Himachal: Kirnesh Jung

Kirnesh Jung is contesting the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017 from Paonta Sahib Assembly constituency on a Congress ticket. Jung had contested as an independent candidate from Paonta Sahib seat in 2012 and won. Jung had defeated BJP's Sukh Ram by 790 votes in 2012 Himachal Pradesh Assembly election.

Paonta Sahib is one of the major industrial towns of Himachal Pradesh. It is located in the south of Sirmour district.

According to myneta.info, Kirnesh Jung is 60-years-old and has studied till class 12th. His assets are worth over Rs 8 crore and he has no criminal cases against him.

He is a resident of Batamandi Tehsil in Sirmour District.
