Congress candidate from Manali assembly seat in Himachal: Hari Chand Sharma

Congress candidate from Manali for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is Hari Chand Sharma.

Manali was one of the nine constituencies where ticket distribution was delayed due to infighting and disputes in the congress.

Contrary to expectations of Congress workers, the ticket was given to Sharma, a former Kullu zila parishad chairperson. The supporters of former minister Raj Krishan Gaur's son Bhuvneshwar Gaur, who has lost election two times from Manali, announced they were not happy with ticket distribution.
