Congress candidate from Joginder Nagar assembly seat in Himachal: Jiwan Lal Thakur
Congress candidate from Joginder Nagar for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is Jiwan Lal Thakur.

Jiwan Thakur, a zila parishad member will be contesting in the assembly polls for the first time.
The seat is currently held by the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Gulab Singh Thakur who had won the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections from the seat in 2012 with 30,092. He had contested against Indian National Congress's (INC) Thakur Surender Pal.
