Congress candidate from Bhattiyat assembly seat in Himachal: Kuldip Singh Pathania

He has assets worth three crores, as per the Myneta website. He is a Forest Minister with the current government.

Kuldip Singh Pathania is the son of Shri Baldev Singh. Kuldip Singh is a BSc graduate and also, completed his LLB From Lucknow University, in 1980. Pathania was a runner-up in 2012 elections. He had won in 2007, as a Congress candidate. He was elected as the youngest MLA in sixth Assembly in 1985 to 1990.

He also remained MLA from 1993 to 1998 and was adjudged with the Best Parliamentarian Award. He remained Chairman of the 3rd State Finance Commission in 2003-2007 and was again elected as an MLA from Bhattiyat Assembly Constituency, from 2007 to 2012. He is also the Chief Spokesperson of the Party. He had been appointed General Secretary (In-charge Organization) of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee. He has no criminal cases against him.
