Inder Dutt Lakhanpal is the current MLA from Barsar, Hamirpur Distt, Himachal Pradesh. Born in a Brahmin family in the hills of Shimla at Village Bagh on 27 October 1962, Shri Inder Dutt Lakhanpal wears many hats.

Being a renowned Chief Organizer of the Pradesh Congress Seva Dal, he is currently serving as C.P.S Rural Development in Himachal Pradesh Government. He is also the Current MLA from Barsar.
His Political Journey is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru, and Smt. Indira Ji to step into politics.
He has been a true Indian at heart and has been a staunch supporter of Indian values, culture, and traditions.
