BJP candidate from Manali assembly seat in Himachal: Govind Singh Thakur
BJP candidate from Manali for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is Govind Singh Thakur.
Govind Singh Thakur had been representing the constituency for the past 10 years and had defeated his arch rival Congress candidate with a huge margin because the Congress was a divided house there.

In 2012, the Manali seat was won by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Govind Singh Thakur with 17645. Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Bhuvneshwar Gaur could not win the seat and secured 14447.
The news of infighting in Congress has brought relief to BJP candidate and two-time Manali MLA Govind Thakur.
