BJP candidate from Hamirpur assembly seat in Himachal: Narendra Thakur
Narendra Thakur filed nomination papers from BJP party from Hamirpur Parliamentary constituency for the upcoming Himachal Pradesh elections 2017.

Narender, son of BJP stalwart Jagdev Chand, had quit BJP in 2003 and fought Assembly elections against former BJP Chief Minister PK dhumal in 2009 and also fought the Lok Sabha elections from Hamirpur against Anurag Thakur. However, he joined BJP few days before the elections and was given the ticket by the party from Sujanpur Assembly seat.
According to myneta.info, Narendra Thakur is Post Graduate. He has completed M.Com from H.P.University Shimla in the year 1981, L.L.B from HPU Shimla in 1984. Narendra Thakur has no criminal cases against him. His assets are worth of 1 crore. He has stated his profession as Advocate -Agriculturist.
