BJP candidate from Dharampur assembly seat in Himachal: Mahender Singh Thakur

BJP candidate from Dharampur for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is Mahendra Singh Thakur.

The BJP has fielded Mahender Singh against the Congress's Chander Shekhar. While the BJP would aim to keep Dharampur in their account, the Congress would be eyeing to win the seat in Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017.

He had won against the Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Chander Shekhar in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2007 by 1,041 votes.

Both Singh and Shekhar have a very good voter base in Dharampur Assembly constituency.
