BJP candidate from Dehra assembly seat in Himachal: Ravinder Singh

He is an agriculturist, businessman, political and social worker. He was President, Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha of Thural Constituency between 1990-93.

BJP: Ravinder Singh: Ravinder Singh is an elected Member of Himachal Pradesh State Legislative Assembly, representing Dehra Assembly segment in Kangra District. He is the son of late Thakur Ganga Ram. Ravinder was born on 28th May, 1955 at Bheri, Kangra district. He studied at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He is married to Madhu Bala.

He is an agriculturist, businessman, political and social worker. He was President, Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha of Thural Constituency between 1990-93. Also, he was the General Secretary, Kangra district from 1994 to 1998.

He was elected to State Legislative Assembly in 1993; re-elected in 1998, 2003 and 2007 from Thural Assembly segment which after delimitation has been ceased to exist. He had been elected to the State Legislative Assembly for the fifth consecutive term in 2012. He was also appointed Chairman, Public Accounts Committee.
