BJP candidate from Baijnath assembly seat in Himachal: Mulakh Raj Premi
BJP candidate from Baijnath constituency for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 is Mulakh Raj Premi.

In the 2012 Assembly elections, Kishori Lal of the Congress defeated his BJP rival Mulkh Raj Premi by 6,652 votes. This time too, the two are set for a face-off. The infighting in the BJP could benefit the Congress.
In urban areas like Baijnath and Paprola, the business centre of Kangra district, traders are unhappy with the BJP over the hasty implementation of the GST, which has hit them hard.
