BJP candidate from Arki assembly seat in Himachal: Ratan Singh Pal

Virbhadra Singh is pitted against the Bharatiya Janata Partys greenhorn Ratan Singh Pal from the Arki seat in Solan district.

Arki is a town, a tehsil and a Nagar panchayat in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The town is famous for its fort built in the late 18th century when Arki was the capital of the erstwhile hill state of
Baghal. The current MLA is Govind Ram Sharma from Bharatiya Janata Party. He won the elections 2012 by winning 17211 votes.

According to myneta.info, Ratan Singh Pal is Matric pass from HPBOSE Dharamshala (GHS Bhumti) in the year 1983-1984. He has stated his profession as the self profession.
