Straus-Kahn steps down as IMF Chief over sex scandal
Former International Monetary Fund (IMF) Chief Dominique Strauss Kahn was one of the most high profile names to be honey trapped in an ugly sex scandal that ultimately led to him quitting his coveted position at the IMF.
The former French Finance Minister was forced to resign on May 18, 2011 after being charged with a criminal sexual act and attempted rape. He victimized a New York hotel housekeeper by sexually attacking her.
