Monster of tornado struck Joplin in 2011

Joplin is a city in southern Jasper County and northern Newton County in the southwestern corner of the US state of Missouri, in which a deadly tornado struck on May 20, 2011.

Joplin tornado ripped through a hospital and killed many across the city. The final death toll in Joplin was 116 making it the deadliest tornado in nearly 60 years.
