Delhi's vada pav girl has created a lot of buzz on the internet for her tasty food and 'rude' behaviour, according to social media users who went at her cart. Several videos of vada pav girl are round the internet, in which, she can be seen allegedly misbehaving, fighting, and shouting. A new video that surfaced online claims that the Delhi Police have arrested her for manhandling, and exchanging heated words.
Chandrika Dixit, popularly known as vada pav girl, runs a food stall in Delhi's Mangolpuri area. She gained popularity after some food influencers made her videos and shared good reviews about the tasty food that she serves. However, over priced food and her rude behaviour caught everyone's attention, which people did not like.

Recently, a video surfaced showcasing her fighting with another woman and claimed that she has been arrested by the Delhi Police, which garnered a lot of sympathy for her. many social media users said that if somebody is working hard to earn their livelihood, then what's the problem, why she has been arrested? While, some people were against her as she speaks rudely to customers and misbehaves.
However, being rude can not be a ground to arrest somebody.
What is the truth?
According to the Delhi Police, the viral video that shows an altercation between her and locals is not complete and police has not arrested anybody. She was organising a community feast (Bhandara) near her stall on her child's birthday, which attracted a large number of people, leading to road blockage and traffic issues. Local had to face problems due to the heavy traffic jams.
However, police clarified that no case has been registered against her and she was not arrested, adding that claims and speculations of her arrest are wrong.
The police official added that her stall is being run without MCD permission. When police received complaints of roadblocks because of her, a team reached the spot, where she misbehaved with the police officials also. Her stall was seized, but no arrest was made.
