Fake BSNL KYC Scam Alert: Beware of Fraudulent Messages Circulating On Social Media
A letter doing rounds on social media claimed that people are being sent a message by the BSNL asking them to complete their KYC.
"Dear Customer, Your SIM KYC has been suspended by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. Your SIM card will be blocked within 24 hours. Call immediately," the message read.

It has also given the contact name with the phone number.
However, this has turned out to be a fake circular which is possibly being sent by scammers to steal money.
PIB Fact Check team has these claims are fake and the BSNL never sends such notices to individuals. It has also warned people not to share their personal details and bank details.
