Trisha Krishnan had recently shared a picture with Vijay on his birthday. The said photo had garnered a lot of attention amid rumours of his divorce from wife Sangeetha.

Speculations have been doing the rounds over Trisha and Vijay's alleged affair for over a year now. The recent picture shared by her on her Instagram account added fuel to the speculations. Now, another snap of the duo has surfaced on the internet, claiming that it is "an old photo" of the alleged couple.

In the undated photo, Trisha is seen in a blue dress while Vijay is in black pants with a red t-shirt. We did a research on their social media profiles and did not find the photo. Also, we did a Google search and found a similar photo of Vijay with his wife Sangeetha.

The extensive research and social media scanning have not yielded any credible evidence to prove that it is a real photo. It looks like miscreants have doctored the picture to mislead the people.

Ever since Vijay entered politics, there have been speculations about Vijay and Trisha's affair. Last year, the duo was spotted together, reportedly travelling to Goa for the wedding of actress Keerthy Suresh.

Viral photographs of them at an airport security checkpoint, coupled with an alleged leak of a flight manifest that included both their names, added considerable fuel to the fire.
