YouTuber Sohail Pasha Arrested For Threatening Actor Salman Khan

YouTuber Sohail Pasha has been arrested by the Mumbai Police for allegedly threatening Bollywood actor Salman Khan and demanding a ransom of Rs 5 crore.

Pasha, who wrote a song titled "Main Sikandar Hoon" dedicated to the actor, reportedly sent threatening messages to Khan, claiming that the threat was issued in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

The Mumbai Police crime branch received multiple messages on November 7 through the WhatsApp helpline of the city's traffic police, where the sender, claiming to be part of the Bishnoi gang, warned that Salman Khan would be killed unless the ransom was paid. The messages also included a threat to kill Pasha, the writer of the song, if the demands were not met.

Following an investigation, the police tracked the origin of the messages to a phone number registered in Raichur, Karnataka. Police then identified Vyankatesh Narayan, who had initially been contacted by the suspect. Narayan revealed that a stranger had approached him in a marketplace on November 3, asking to use his phone to make a call. Unbeknownst to Narayan, the person had used his number to install WhatsApp and generate an OTP. Further investigation revealed that this individual was, in fact, Sohail Pasha, the songwriter behind "Main Sikandar Hoon."

Pasha allegedly used this scheme to gain attention for his song by connecting it to a high-profile threat. His arrest was made in Manvi village, near Raichur, where he had been hiding. The police confirmed that the YouTuber had resorted to this illegal ploy to make his work famous by associating it with Salman Khan, whose name and fame would attract significant attention to his song.

The arrest of Pasha has sent shockwaves through social media and the entertainment industry, with many questioning the lengths to which some individuals will go to gain fame. Pasha now faces serious charges, including extortion and criminal intimidation, and will be further investigated for his involvement in this unusual and dangerous stunt.
