Will Mahavatar Narsimha Release On OTT Soon? Here's What The Makers Revealed

After setting the box office on fire, Mahavatar Narsimha has sparked widespread speculation about an imminent OTT release. However, the makers of India's biggest animated hit have put these rumours to rest by issuing an official clarification.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the team behind Mahavatar Narsimha confirmed that the film is currently available only in theatres. In their post, they stated: "Stay away from rumours... We've been receiving a lot of buzz about Mahavatar Narsimha coming to OTT soon, but let us clarify: For now, our film is ONLY available in theatres across the whole wide world. We have not finalised any OTT platforms yet. Please believe only authentic updates shared from our official handles. Your trust keeps the Sanatani roar alive."

Fans echoed the sentiment in the comments section, encouraging others to experience the film in cinemas. One user wrote, "The fun of such an amazing movie is in watching it in the theatre... We will see a repeat in OTT when it comes." Another added, "I have watched this movie twice in the theatre with my friends and family. It was a great experience... this movie is for the big screen." About the Film

Directed by Ashwin Kumar in his debut and written by Jayapurna Das, Mahavatar Narsimha is an epic mythological action film that marks the beginning of the seven-part Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, inspired by the ten avatars of Bhagavan Vishnu. Produced by Kleem Productions and Hombale Films, the animated movie focuses on Lord Vishnu's fierce half-man, half-lion incarnation, Narsimha, who descends to save his devotee Prahlad and vanquish the demon king Hiranyakashipu.

Despite facing stiff competition from Bollywood releases such as Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, and Son of Sardaar 2 featuring Ajay Devgn, Mahavatar Narsimha has become a massive commercial success. It has grossed ₹106 crore at the domestic box office and over ₹120 crore globally.
