Why Ibrahim Ali Khan Took Saif Ali Khan To Lilavati Hospital In An Auto After The Attack

In a distressing incident, Saif Ali Khan was subjected to a violent attack by an unidentified individual who infiltrated his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, around 2:30 AM on a fateful Thursday. The assailant was confronted by Saif after a commotion with a household staff member, leading to the actor sustaining injuries. The Mumbai Police are actively delving into the circumstances surrounding this alarming episode.

In the aftermath of the attack, Saif Ali Khan's eldest son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, demonstrated swift action by transporting his father to Lilavati Hospital in the early hours for urgent medical attention. Faced with the absence of a driver, Ibrahim, alongside a member of Saif's household staff, had no choice but to take an auto rickshaw to rush the actor to the hospital around 3:30 AM. This quick decision-making was crucial in providing Saif with the immediate care he needed.

Upon arrival at Lilavati Hospital, Saif Ali Khan underwent several surgeries to treat the injuries inflicted during the attack. The hospital's Chief Operating Officer, Niraj Uttamani, disclosed that the actor had sustained six wounds, two of which were notably severe. Thanks to the timely medical intervention, Saif's condition stabilised significantly.

Following the surgeries, a statement was released on behalf of Saif Ali Khan's team, assuring the public of his stable condition. "Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe, and the police are investigating the incident," it conveyed. Additionally, Dr. Uttamani mentioned that Saif had been moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for closer observation and would remain there for at least a day to ensure his recovery proceeds without complications.

The incident has left fans and well-wishers of the Khan family in shock, especially considering that Saif, along with his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their two sons, Taimur and Jeh, were present in the house during the assault.
