Bigg Boss Kannada 12: Not Just Season 12, Sudeep To Host Next Four Seasons
Putting an end to all speculations, Kiccha Sudeep has confirmed his return as the host of Bigg Boss Kannada-not just for the upcoming Season 12, but for the next four seasons.
The actor had earlier announced during the launch of Season 11 that it would be his final stint with the show, sparking widespread speculation that actor-director Rishab Shetty might step in as his replacement. However, Sudeep has now clarified that while he had indeed stepped away due to creative differences, the team has since addressed those concerns-prompting his return.

I Left Because Some Ideas Weren't Executed
Speaking to the media, Sudeep shared candidly, "Some ideas were not executed last year, and I walked away because of that. But now they've been incorporated. That's why I've come back."
He emphasized that his departure wasn't meant to shock anyone. "I had clearly stated at the beginning of Season 11 that it would be my last. I reconfirmed it again towards the finale. It wasn't a dramatic exit. I meant what I said."
There's Responsibility in Hosting
Sudeep acknowledged that hosting Bigg Boss comes with serious responsibility. "Yes, I get paid for it, but that also means I have a commitment. Viewers wait for my weekend episodes, and for three-and-a-half months, the show lays the foundation for the year-both for the contestants and the channel. So I owe it to them to make it better."

He added, "It's not just about the content. It's about making the show better. I'm there only on weekends, but I watch the show daily. If a task doesn't go well, we discuss it. There have been seasons where the ratings dipped midway, but in the last couple of years, the graph has remained steady."
Bigg Boss Kannada's Growing Popularity
Sudeep believes Bigg Boss Kannada has reached a level where it is now viewed like a grand sporting event. "The audience treats it like the IPL. The growth in the last three seasons has been phenomenal-big leaps, not just small steps. The contestants have gained a lot too; the show has transformed careers. It's a massive platform, and I'm happy to be returning as it gets even bigger."
On Rumours of Replacement
When asked about the rumours that others might host the show, he responded gracefully, "Even if someone else had hosted it, I would've watched. Maybe I would've even called them with suggestions. The show must go on-that's the most important thing. We've built a strong foundation over 11 seasons, and it should continue to grow. I'm not insecure about it."
With this confirmation, fans can now look forward to another power-packed season-helmed once again by the ever-charismatic Kiccha Sudeep. And if the actor's words are anything to go by, Bigg Boss Kannada is about to get a lot bigger and better.
