Who Is Bharat Takhtani, Whose Marriage With Esha Deol Ending in Divorce?

The speculations around actress Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani have ended as they have reportedly announced their separation.

As per Delhi Times, a joint statement from them reads: "We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We'd appreciate our privacy is respected."

Who Is Bharat Takhtani?

Bharat Takhtani, son of businessman Vijay Takthtani, hails from Bandra in Mumbai. As per the information available on the internet, Bharat completed his primary education at Learner's Academy in Bandra. Subsequently, he pursued his undergraduate studies at the HR College of Commerce and Economics, situated in Churchgate, Mumbai.

He gained media attention after his marriage to Esha Deol, daughter of famous Bollywood actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini. Takhtani and Esha Deol got married in 2012.

The wedding was attended by who's who of Bollywood. The Bachchans, the Kapoors, the Khans and the Chopras, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, Shatrughan Sinha and his family, Anil Kapoor and his family, Mahesh Bhupathi and Lara Dutta, Rekha, Dimple Kapadia, Bipasha Basu, Celina Jaitly, Fardeen and Zayed Khan and their families, Shilpa and Shamita Shetty, Vashu Bhagnani and family, Harman Baweja, John Abraham, Dino Morea and Nandita Mahtani, Raveena Tandon, Vidya Balan, Riteish Deshmukh and family had graced the ceremony.

There have been speculations of their separation for some time now. It is because Esha has not been posting any photos with Takhtani. Netizens had also taken note of his absence at Hema Malini's 75th birthday celebration and at Diwali bashes.

Esha and Bharat first crossed paths during an inter-college competition. A decade later, fate brought them together again in America, reigniting their romance. They have two daughters, Radhya and Miraya.

As far as the work is concerned, Esha made her OTT debut with Ajay Devgn's 'Rudra'.
