What Right Darshan Has Got To Kill: Bhavana Belagere On Renuka Swamy Murder By D Boss Aides

Journalist and former 'Bigg Boss Kannada 7' contestant Bhavana Belagere has condemned the murder of Renuka Swamy, allegedly killed by actor Darshan's aides for making lewd comments about actress Pavithra Gowda.

Bhavana, who is also the wife of actor Srinagar Kitty, met with the victim's family earlier in the day. Speaking to the media, she demanded that those involved in the murder of Renuka Swamy from Chitradurga be punished.

"There is a cybercrime department to handle online abuses. Whether positive comments, personal attacks, or negative comments, there is a proper way to deal with them, and people should exercise common sense. I am shocked that it reached the point of taking someone's life. This is shameful behavior and should never have happened.

Renuka Swamy was only 25 or 27 years old. I condemn this murder. If Darshan is involved, he should be punished. Even if he merely instructed others to beat him up, he should be held accountable because no one has the right to take a life. What right Darshan has got to kill?"

Renuka Swamy was kidnapped from his house in Chitradurga, taken to Darshan's RR Nagar house and then to a shed in Kamakshi Palya owned by the actors friend Vinay. There, he was assaulted and killed. His body was then transported in an autorickshaw and later in Darshan's Scorpio car before being dumped in a drainage ditch in Sumanahalli.

The body was first discovered by a delivery boy on Sunday, who alerted the police. As the investigation progressed, the police established links between the deceased and Darshan.

So far, 13 people have been arrested in connection with the case, including Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, Pawan, Pradosh, Nandish, Keshava Murthy, Lakshman (Darshan's car driver), Raghavendra (a member of Darshan's fan association in Chitradurga), Deepak, Vinay, and Karthik.

All the accused are expected to undergo medical tests before being produced in court shortly.
