War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, has officially hit theatres, marking the sixth entry in the YRF Spy Universe. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the action thriller arrives with high expectations but faces stiff competition from Rajinikanth's Coolie.

According to industry reports, War 2 earned ₹20.57 crore in advance bookings, while Coolie led with ₹37.2 crore. Early estimates suggest an opening day collection of around ₹18.37 crore for War 2 in India.

Mixed Reviews from Critics and Audiences

Initial reactions to War 2 have been mixed. Viewers praise its large-scale action sequences, slick cinematography, and the on-screen chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. However, some critics point out a predictable storyline that limits the film's impact compared to its predecessor, War (2019), which grossed ₹471 crore worldwide.
