In an interview, director Venkat Prabhu recently shared an interesting anecdote about the camaraderie between Tamil cinema superstars Vijay and Ajith Kumar that occurred after the latter underwent surgery.

Prabhu mentioned that Vijay had requested him to call from the hospital so that he could speak with Ajith. He added that both the stars then engaged in a long and pleasant conversation.

"They spoke very happily and are very good friends," Prabhu noted, highlighting the mutual respect and warmth that defines their relationship.

Ajith, in a gesture of support, reportedly conveyed his high hopes for 'GOAT', expressing that it should outshine his own hit, 'Mankatha'.
